SPRING 2024 WORKSHOPS ARE HERE!
Join us this spring at our picturesque farm in beautiful Northumberland County! Spring workshops are all about preparing for gardening season. Lots of plant supports on the way! If you are looking for basketry classes, worry not, those classes will return soon!
The Important Details:
Please scroll down to see photos and descriptions of the projects we are offering this spring. To register please fill out the form at the bottom of the page. If a space is available we will email you an invoice within 48 hours, which may be paid online via credit card or e-transfer. There will be a PDF file attached to your invoice containing pertinent details for your workshop. Please save or print this file.
If the workshop you wish to attend is sold out we will automatically add you to a cancelation list.
All materials and tools are supplied. We will send you an email reminder one week prior to the class. Complimentary coffee, tea and water will be available for every class, please bring your lunch and snacks to full day classes.
*Please note, most of our workshops are suitable for beginners, please read the class description for details. Intermediate and Serial Weavers are welcome in all of our workshops and encouraged to experiment with new weaves and shapes to improve their skills. Space is limited and workshops sell out quickly. We offer classes year round, more classes will be posted for the coming months.
Peony Crown
Build your own UNIQUE Peony Crown/Plant Support. A Madame Twig I original creation! This one-of-a-kind plant support is both beautiful and functional in your garden, outdoor container or even inside your home. It also makes the perfect gift! Willow colours will vary. Roped Garden Tower
Anything using the roping technique is beautiful! Few will disagree! Make this amazing plant support, using 2 different weaving techniques and use it as you wish within your garden. Finished height is approximately 4 - 4.5 feet tall, approximately 18 inches in diameter. Willow colours may vary.

Bloom Tower
This plant support is a shorter version of our garden tower (see above). We will use the same beautiful roping technique to make a gorgeous plant support that will be approximately 32 inches tall and open at the top. Willow Colours may vary.

Large Obelisk
Big and bold, These 6ft plant supports will make a stunning addition to any garden. Imagine them adorned with a beautiful clematis or supporting peas in your vegetable patch.
In winter you may also want use them as Christmas trees indoors or out.
Please be cognizant of the size and ensure your obelisk will fit in your vehicle with any passengers you may have!

Plant Collar
This plant collar is both beautiful and functional. Perfect for supporting your hydrangea or plants of any kind! We’re sure you have an idea of what this beautiful, woven plant collar be used for in your very own garden! Willow Colours may vary. Finished height is approximately 26 inches.

Medium Obelisk
INDOOR OR OUT, THESE ORNATE OBELISKS WILL ATTRACT ATTENTION WHEREVER you DISPLAY them! Use them in your garden or containers as plant supports or focal points. In the winter you can bring them indoors and use them as Christmas trees. This is a fan favorite! In this class we will introduce you to some basketry weaving techniques which you can apply to other weaving projects. Willow colours may vary. Finished height is approximately 3.5 feet.

Class Fee: $80 plus tax
Once your form has been submitted you will receive an invoice via email. Attached to the invoice will be an information sheet about your workshop. Please allow 48 hours for us to process your form and send out your invoice. If you have not received your invoice within 48 hours you can contact us to ensure we received your form submission. Before submitting a form, please review our Cancellation Policy. If the class is fully booked you will automatically be added to the cancellation list.
Your payment secures your spot in the class. Invoices that become 5 days over due will be cancelled so the spaces can be filled prior to the class date.
