willow basketry and garden ornaments

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2017

FALL IS A BEAUTIFUL TIME OF THE YEAR TO PLAN A DAY IN THE COUNTRY TO ENJOY THE COLOURFUL SPLENDOUR OF THE NORTHUMBERLAND HILLS SURROUNDING OUR FARM.

This fall we are pleased to introduce a few new items to our workshop schedule. Due to an overwhelming number of requests for a large bird feeder class, we will be hosting two of these 2 1/2 day workshops for people with some experience with willow weaving techniques.

Another new class is the large garden obelisk, a striking 6FT+ garden support.

ALL OF OUR WORKSHOPS ARE OPEN TO BEGINNERS EXCEPT FOR THE LARGE BIRD FEEDER

Please click on the photos for details and pricing on each class or follow the link to our *NEW* Workshop Calendar

Online registration is required to book your space. If the class of your choice is sold out please CONTACT US to put your name on a waiting list, cancellations happen!

We provide hot beverages, water and cookies for every class. On full day workshops you may bring a lunch or opt-in for a delicious catered meal. We can design an event for groups of eight to ten. If you are planning a weekend trip let us know.

The Northumberland Hills is a beautiful area for touring by car or bicycle. We can suggest local restaurants and lodging if you would like to stay locally. We will also arrange semi-private and private lessons for those interested, please contact us for dates and pricing.

Under the supervision of Madame Twig I and II you will benefit from two different perspectives, four eyes and twenty extra fingers to help you learn the craft of basket weaving with willow.

Beginners are welcome in MOST of our classes!
